IAAW provides short-term workshops, staff training, and gatherings to unite Aboriginal women who are often isolated.
IAAW provides services to groups of Indigenous women on request. In the past three years we have worked in the following communities: Calgary, Edmonton, Enoch, Ermineskin Cree Nation, Fort McKay First Nation, Fort McMurray, Fort Chipewyan, High Prairie Metis Settlement, High Level, Lac La Biche, and Lethbridge.
Our services include but are not limited to:• Short-term workshops justice, financial literacy, and leadership development
• Referrals and connections to provincial and national initiatives for women and girls
• Networking and support services to women who are interested in starting an advocacy group to deal with an issue or event in their community.Contact us for more information.
