System Navigation
The System Navigator provides information and referrals to address barriers to basic services and social supports for Indigenous women. The goal of the program is to eliminate the social, economic, political, and cultural marginalization Indigenous women face by providing navigational support and advocacy.
Services include raising awareness about Indigenous history and trauma, building participants skills and confidence, increasing staff skills and competencies, modelling desired behaviours, holding confidentiality in the highest regard, continuous learning, and creating a comfortable, culturally-safe environment.
There are many requests for this service, therefore it could be 3-5 days for a response. Please call 211 or crisis lines for immediate services.
