From March to December 2023, Esquao, the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women, conducted a community engagement, including 313 surveys and four community gatherings, to explore the needs of First Nation, Métis, Inuit, Indigenous women, and 2Spirit+ individuals (18+) and their families in both rural and urban communities across Alberta.
