Edmonton, AB – President of Esquao, the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women, Josie Nepinak, has issued a statement on the death of Canadian serial killer Robert Pickton.

“Esquao, the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women, remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting the families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Two-Spirit individuals. We recognize and honor the families whose loved ones fell victim to the notorious serial killer Robert Pickton. There is still much work to be done to uncover the truth behind many unsolved deaths, and our focus will remain on advocating for justice.”
